American Idol has hit a new low as Sanjaya Malakar advanced tonight. The mentor for this week was Gwen Stefani and she had to be horrified as Sanjaya sang a half-assed version of No Doubt’s “Bathwater” last night. A riot ensued shortly thereafter.
None of this mattered as Sanjaya breezed through this week. He was not even in American Idol’s bottom three. We now predict Sanjaya will be in the Top 5 at the very least.
Further, we must now thank Howard Stern and Votefortheworst.com. If it were not for their campaign to keep Sanjaya around, we may have not had the pleasure of seeing the strangest hairstyle ever created. This haircut was so queer that even Seacrest was puckering his lips while examining it.
